LDI 2022: Our New Normal is Better than Ever

Our US-based sales team members in attendance at LDI 2022 were fortunate to meet and greet many friends, old and new, from around the world. This year's LDI Show came after two years of COVID-related hiatus from LDI trade show events for our team at City Theatrical, and we were very happy to present our technology and see many colleagues live and in person. We are thankful for all of the interest at our booth, by way of foot traffic, strategic questions, and solid inquiries that came our way at the event.

All in all, it was great to be able to get a feel for where the industry is at the moment, and where it's going!

This year we also offered City Theatrical Made in the USA novelty Sandwich Holder keychains to participants in our booth, which ended up becoming buzzworthy swag at the event!

Here's a look at our booth at the show:

A Year of New Technology and New Partnerships

Our product demos included our ninth and newest type of QolorFLEX NuNeon®, which is called QolorFLEX NuNeon, Tunable White HiQ High CRI, and ideal for high quality film and video lighting.

City Theatrical demonstrations at LDI Show 2022 also included our award-winning Multiverse® wireless DMX/RDM products and technology in OEM manufacturing partnerships. Multiverse is now included as a standard feature in all three new ColorSource V fixtures, launched worldwide via ETC’s  launch event on November 10, 2022. This OEM partnership and product line expansion is part of our strategic direction to make Multiverse wireless DMX/RDM technology and its benefits, including flexibility, scalability, and ease of use, available to a wider range of live entertainment end users.

“Whether you’re making the next blockbuster film or the next middle school theatre production, Multiverse wireless DMX/RDM solves problems for shows of all levels. As the ColorSource V product family and other ETC product families grow, we continue to see Multiverse wireless DMX/RDM technology as an integral feature for our end users.”

- Luke Delwiche, Entertainment Market Manager, ETC

Multiverse wireless DMX/RDM technology is currently offered as onboard wireless DMX technology native to many ETC light fixtures as part of an OEM manufacturing partnership. In addition to the recently launched ColorSource V light fixtures, including the ColorSource Spot VColorSource Fresnel V, and  ColorSource Spot VXT, Multiverse wireless DMX comes as standard onboard technology in ETC’s Source Four LED Series 3Desire Fresnelfos/4 Fresnelfos/4 PanelColorSource Relay, and HQ-100 Performance Hazer solutions.

All of these products were available for demonstration at the ETC booth at LDI.
