Many broadcast problems are overcome by using specialized antennas, either to increase range or to focus radio energy to a specific area. The specialized Long Range antennas listed below, including the P/N 5981 Panel and 5982 Yagi, are available for different scenarios in a Multiverse wireless DMX/RDM or legacy SHoW DMX wireless DMX setup.

The 2dBi/4dBi Omni Broadband Antenna, 900MHz/2.4GHz, Dual Band (P/N 5980) is the standard antenna for City Theatrical’s Multiverse® Node (P/Ns 5902 and 6903) and Multiverse Transmitter (P/Ns 5910, 5911, and 5912) products. Its connection is made using a RP-SMA male plug.

This Omni-directional Dual Band Antenna allows the user to receive or broadcast on the 2.4GHz (for worldwide use) radio band or the 900MHz (for use in the Americas only) radio band.

The 1.8dBi/3.8dBi Omni Broadband “Stubby” Antenna, 900MHz/2.4GHz, Dual Band (P/N 5984) is the standard antenna for City Theatrical’s Multiverse Studio Receiver (P/N 5904), which brings the advanced features of the Multiverse wireless DMX/RDM system to the film and video world. Its connection is made using a RP-SMA male plug.

The Multiverse Studio Receiver’s Dual Band Antenna allows the user to receive a single universe on the 2.4GHz (for worldwide use) radio band or the 900MHz (for use in the Americas only) radio band.

This panel antenna is a directional unit with a 60º Beam spread. 

These antennas can be used with a single transmitter in a pair with a splitter to send the radio signal in two different directions (e.g. two sides of a building with the transmitter mounted at the corner).  


The 5981 Panel Antenna antenna can be used for indoor or outdoor projects. 

The 5981 Panel Antenna comes with mounting bracket and attached 6" lead with female "N" connector. To connect to SHoW Baby, Neo Tx or Rx, Multiverse Node or Multiverse Transmitter requires a 5638 Adapter Cable. To connect to Vero requires a 5641 Adapter Cable. 

The 8dBi Panel is legal in the EU with the use of a splitter. When using high gain antennas be certain that the EIRP of your system is within permissible limits of your local regulatory body. This highly directional Yagi antenna has a 35º Beam width. Yagi antennas focus most of their energy forward producing a highly directional, narrow beam.  A good choice for very long range broadcast to fixed targets. 


The 5982 Yagi Antenna comes with mounting bracket and attached 6" lead with female "N" connector. To connect to SHoW Baby, Neo Tx or Rx, Multiverse Node or Multiverse Transmitter requires a 5638 Adapter Cable. To connect to Vero requires a 5641 Adapter Cable.

The 5982 Yagi Antenna can be used for indoor or outdoor projects.

When using high gain antennas be certain that the EIRP of your system is within permissible limits of your local regulatory body.
